The owner family moved to Vitznau in 2013 and was so fascinated by the lake, the mountains, nature and the unique microclimate (in Vitznau there are palm trees, persimmon trees, medlars and much more!) that they wanted to offer guests from all over the world the opportunity to discover this wonderful piece of earth!

Beginning with the Casa Grande, the family has hosted guests from every continent and everyone has loved it. Those who came as guests left Vitznau as friends.

Together with other partners, we had the opportunity to acquire more properties on the Rigi and carefully convert them into beautiful holiday homes. When buying the property, the focus was always on the location: if possible, no direct neighbors, incredible views of the lake and mountains and surrounded by unique nature!

However, it was and is very important to the owners to respect and closely work with our neighbours wishes, and so, the region of Mittlerschwanden became an official quiet zone. Every neighbour, who wanted to take part of our project was included. This is why (on request) the farmer's wife Brigitte will be happy to supply you with fresh eggs, milk or butter during your stay. Tony can supply extra fire wood, Guido takes care of the gardens and Rolf makes the statistics.

Our neighbors are our friends! It is extremely important to maintain the peace and quiet in the region so that all people and animals continue to feel at home.
